Display settings

How the tree view draws your nodes, which way it runs, and what the paged export prints onto. These are yours and apply to every project. Nothing here draws a tree — the tree view reads these settings.

Node fields

Every field can show on the node, on hover, both, or neither.

Node weight

Thickens or thins every node's outline together, from 0.25 to 10 — 1 is the shipped weight. It multiplies each type's line weight, which is set on the Types page.

Node spacing

Extra breathing room between rows of nodes, from 0 to 60 — 6 is the shipped spacing. Rows never overlap: 0 packs them to exactly touching, and larger values open the tree up. The exports share this layout, so it changes the paged export's page count too. At 0, sheets can keep a sliver of air above a shared item's reuse marker — exports draw no badges but hold their room, so paper and screen share one scale.

Tree orientation

A preference, not a property of the data — some people read assembly structure better vertically.

Export page setup

Used by the paged export, which slices a large tree to fit the drawable area of one sheet.

Appearance

The colors the app itself is drawn in — its buttons, panels, tables and headers. Your status colors are your data and never change with this; the Statuses page is where those live.

This one is remembered by this browser rather than by your account — a rendering preference of this screen, like a zoom level. It will not follow you to another machine, and anyone else signing in on this browser sees the same choice. It saves the moment you pick it; there is nothing to Save above for it.
